This is a series of informative and imperical videos being done by me in cooperation with Chris Scoggin of Ronin Katana.
Some are informational in nature and some involve me doing some stupid stuff.
Disclaimer No. 1 : Zen-Blades or Torion Sword , nor its owner nor staff , Marc Ridgeway , nor Ronin Katana or its owner and or staff endorse risky and destructive testing with swords. Swords are dangerous and doing stupid things with them is more dangerous still. I do this having some experience , some precautions and a butt-load of stupidity. Please do not try to replicate these tests.
Disclaimer No. 2 : In some of the informational videos I may seem to be innacurate to you , I may misspeak some anal detail of steels or hardening or may pronounce words wrong. Some of you are going to be more knowledgeable than me. If you think I have made a mistake and am (God forbid ) wrong... mea culpa ... I admit it ... youre right , I'm wrong... there with that out of the way , there will be no point in pointing it out or cluttering the thread with anal observations , corrections or arguments. These videos were made for the you-tube masses , not for experts... and I believe they are accurate enough for that purpose.
I had to create a new youtube channel for this , as I had far too many copyright strikes on my cutting vids for youtube to allow me to upload 30 minute videos...
There will be several more videos forthcoming.. only one test has been done so far...
