amazing emerald wakizashi
review by R.K. Ridgeway
atlanta GA
while vacationing in an undisclosed location we came upon a moutain instalation in which i recieved the emerald wakizashi. after several months i decided that this would be a fitting introduction to my reviewing career.
specifications
Nagasa; 11 in.
tsuka; 6 in.
wieght; 8 ounces.
sori; .7 in.
motohaba; 1 in.
motokasane; 11 mm.
Aesthetics
sugata is shinogi zukuri without yokote either real or cosmetic. the finely polished blade sports a bo-hi and lots of niku.the tsuba is a siver mokko design while the fuchigashira are black with a bird theme.the tsuka is wrapped with green itomaki over white synthetic same.the saya sports a glossy green finish with fittings matching the fuchigashira.over all the sword is well put together and presented in a expertly made way.
handling
with a point of balance of one inch from the tsuba this sword is lightning fast. Any expert or untrained average joe could tell you of the feather like weight and ferocious speed of this world class wakizashi. the grip fits the hand like a glove. the sword floats through the air like the birds on its fittings.
cutting
despite the weight and size of this sword the cutting ability amazed me, i tackled bottles AND bamboo and well... ill just let the video speak for itself.
conclusion
the handling and power behind this weapon is supurb. this is without a shadow of a doubt the best sword i have ever reviewed. this is a plus for any and all swordsman to own i feel that the emeraled wakizashi was well worth the 173$ worth of skee ball tickets i went through to aquire it
